Recruiting for a Payroll/Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR team and support payroll administration for a prestigious client. This person will also support a variety of HR functions in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. This role offers a unique opportunity for an individual interested in developing expertise across both payroll and human resources while working closely with employees and leadership.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn. This position includes a strong training component and is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and people.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Support

  • Assist with the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  • Review employee information, payroll entries, and related documentation for accuracy.
  • Generate payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
  • Support payroll audits and compliance activities.
  • Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries.
  • Ensure payroll information is accurately maintained within company systems.

Human Resources Administration

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Assist with employee communications, policy administration, and HR programs.
  • Support benefits administration and employee data management.
  • Serve as a resource for employee questions regarding HR processes and procedures.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Support

  • Post job openings and assist with candidate sourcing efforts.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Prepare offer letters and onboarding paperwork.
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain applicant records.

HR Operations & Systems

  • Assist with HR and payroll system administration and data maintenance.
  • Generate reports and support ongoing HR initiatives.
  • Learn and navigate multiple platforms and systems to support daily operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in payroll, human resources, recruiting, or administrative support.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including basic Excel skills.
  • Comfortable learning new software platforms and systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-service mindset with a collaborative approach.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting payroll processes.
  • Exposure to HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of fundamental HR practices and employment-related processes.
