Our client, a global management consulting firm specializing in commercial growth and business strategy, is seeking an Office Manager to support its Boston office. This is a 3+ month contract opportunity paying $35/hour, with the potential to convert permanently. The role is based onsite at One Boston Place in Boston and follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This individual will play a key role in creating a welcoming and organized office environment while supporting daily operations, employee experience initiatives, and office events. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, facilities requests, and vendor relationships.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, kitchen inventory, snacks, beverages, and catering.
  • Welcome employees, visitors, candidates, and clients while maintaining a polished office environment.
  • Coordinate meetings, conference room logistics, appointments, and office events.
  • Oversee office mail, deliveries, invoices, expense tracking, and purchasing.
  • Support onboarding activities and help create a positive new-hire experience.
  • Coordinate office moves, workspace setups, and seating arrangements.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, team outings, and morale-building events.
  • Prepare correspondence, maintain spreadsheets, answer phones, and provide administrative support as needed.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of office management, administrative support, hospitality, workplace experience, or related experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience coordinating events, catering, office logistics, and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to manage calendars, expenses, invoices, and administrative processes.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with a passion for creating a positive workplace experience.
  • Experience supporting larger office environments and/or a hospitality background is strongly preferred.
