Our client, a prestigious global investment management firm in Boston, is seeking a polished and professional Front Desk Administrator to provide exceptional front desk support and serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. This is a fully onsite opportunity offering $25-$30/hour (depending on experience), with a 3-month leave coverage assignment. Candidates should be flexible and open to an extension.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and welcoming manner
- Manage front desk operations and serve as the primary point of contact for incoming inquiries
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and visitor requests
- Coordinate conference room scheduling and maintain meeting spaces
- Assist with visitor registration, security procedures, and badge management
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services
- Provide administrative support to various teams as needed
- Maintain office organization, supply inventory, and common areas
- Partner with internal departments to ensure smooth daily office operations
- Support special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned
Candidate Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, or customer-facing office experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable interacting with executives, clients, and visitors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing business needs
- Ability to commit to a fully onsite schedule
Schedule Requirements
- Monday through Thursday: shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
- Friday: shifts between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Typical schedules include:
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
