This temporary-to-hire Inside Sales & Contract Administrator opportunity offers $23/hour with a Monday-Friday schedule of either 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Located in Taunton, MA, this role supports a growing manufacturing and construction company specializing in commercial cold storage systems. The position combines customer service, sales support, contract administration, front desk responsibilities, and ERP system management in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and web.
  • Support the sales team by preparing, modifying, and issuing proposals, quotes, and contracts.
  • Track leads, opportunities, and customer records within company software systems.
  • Coordinate contract documentation, including signed agreements, insurance certificates, credit applications, and compliance paperwork.
  • Set up new customers and projects within the ERP system.
  • Process sales orders for replacement parts and stock items.
  • Coordinate with operations, purchasing, and shipping teams to fulfill customer orders.
  • Answer incoming calls and greet customers, vendors, and visitors.
  • Manage administrative tasks including data entry, filing, document management, and mail distribution.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and support quote-to-cash processes.
  • Provide ongoing customer service and project support throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, sales support, contract administration, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable learning and working within ERP systems and multiple software platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Acumatica, NetSuite, Sage, Epicor, Dynamics, Viewpoint, or QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Construction, building products, manufacturing, or project-based business experience is a plus but not required.
