We are seeking a Temp Customer Service Supervisor to oversee a team of 4-5 Customer Service Representatives supporting a temporary document processing project in Midtown Manhattan. This individual will manage daily office operations, ensure exceptional customer service standards, oversee document collection and processing activities, and serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership experience, excellent technical skills, prior exposure to handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and the ability to lead by example in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coach, and support a team of up to five Customer Service Representatives
  • Manage daily office operations and workflow to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Monitor team attendance, productivity, and customer service performance
  • Serve as the escalation point for customer inquiries and service-related issues
  • Train, onboard, and mentor team members
  • Ensure accurate collection, scanning, uploading, and tracking of customer documents
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures regarding the handling of PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure work is accurate and complete
  • Communicate project updates, process changes, and priorities to staff
  • Assist with customer-facing responsibilities during peak periods as needed
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-focused office environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of supervisory or management experience
  • Experience leading customer service, administrative, or operations teams
  • Exposure to and experience handling PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
  • Strong computer and technical skills
  • Comfortable learning new systems and technology
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work onsite Monday-Friday in Midtown Manhattan
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented
  • Experience in document processing, administrative operations, or high-volume customer service environments preferred
