Our client, a non-profit organization is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Linthicum, Maryland.
About The Job:
- Lead major gifts and individual giving efforts to grow donor engagement and fundraising revenue
- Manage a portfolio of 100-125 donors and prospects, developing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
- Build relationships with high-net-worth individuals, donors, volunteer leaders, and board members
- Research and identify new fundraising opportunities while expanding donor participation
- Oversee donor recognition, fundraising campaigns, and donor engagement initiatives
- Track donor activity, prepare reports, and support fundraising events
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of major gifts, fundraising, business development, or consultative sales experience
- Proven success achieving revenue goals and building high-value relationships
- Experience working with donors, executives, boards, or other senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with donor CRM systems and Microsoft Office preferred
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $38-$45/hr on the contract side
- Permanent Salary: $100K-$110K
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite
- Full-time schedule
- Free parking available
