Our client, a healthcare technology management company, is seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to support purchasing, vendor management, contracts, and order processing. This temporary position is based in Boston, MA, runs ASAP through the end of December, and pays $27.50/hour. The role involves high-volume, detail-oriented work using Excel and Google Docs, with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and follow-through. Job Responsibilities

  • Process purchasing requests and create and track purchase orders.
  • Review vendor pricing, request quotes, and negotiate discounts.
  • Track orders through acknowledgement, shipment, delivery, and receipt.
  • Resolve order, invoice, pricing, and documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain service contract records, including pricing, coverage dates, assets, and renewal information.
  • Code invoices and complete accurate data entry.
  • Support vendor onboarding and maintain vendor records and contacts.
  • Follow up with vendors regarding overdue quotes, parts, and service reports.
  • Coordinate vendor scheduling and access arrangements.
  • Respond to internal questions regarding order status, pricing, and coverage.
  • Support tracking, reporting, and other sourcing-related administrative needs.

Candidate Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • 2+ years of office experience involving coordination, information management, or data tracking.
  • Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
  • Comfortable working with Google Docs and reviewing multiple documents for accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of transactions.
  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience working with contracts or vendors preferred.
  • Reliable, accountable, collaborative, and comfortable working independently.
