Our client, a professional membership organization is seeking a HR Generalist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Arlington, Virginia.
About The Job:
- Provide HR generalist support across the organization, including benefits administration, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance
- Serve as a primary resource for employee benefits, open enrollment, and employee inquiries
- Maintain HRIS data, employee records, reporting, and workforce analytics
- Support onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and day-to-day HR administration
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities
- Partner with leadership and vendors to support HR programs and employee experience
- Assist with strategic HR projects and gain exposure to talent management and organizational development initiatives
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong experience with benefits administration, open enrollment, and HR operations
- HRIS experience required; BambooHR preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Passion for employee engagement and creating a positive workplace culture
- Eager to learn, grow, and develop into a future HR leader
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $40-$45/hr while on the contract
- Permanent Salary: $80K-$90K DOE
- 6-month Temp-to-Hire opportunity
- Hybrid schedule: Tuesday-Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
- Ballston location in Arlington, VA
