Our client, an employee benefits organization, is seeking an Onsite Call Center Representative on a temporary basis in Rockville, Maryland.
About The Job:
- Provide professional, accurate, and empathetic customer service by phone, email, fax, and written correspondence
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls, including 60-80+ calls daily, and document interactions accurately
- Assist with participant inquiries regarding benefits, including 1099 status and online benefits
- Respond to emails and messages, route inquiries, prepare correspondence, and upload requested documents
- Process participant information, address changes, returned mail, and new participant materials
- Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve inquiries and complete special projects
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- 2+ years of call center experience preferred; benefit fund experience is a plus
- Strong customer service, listening, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
- Clear, concise, and professional phone communication
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues and high call volumes
- Collaborative, flexible, and able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual skills preferred
About The Position:
- $29/hr
- Temporary assignment through the end of April 2027
- Fully onsite in Rockville, MD
- Free parking
