Administrative Assistant to $65K – Support a Non-Profit Initiative!

Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support high‑volume grant activity and ensure smooth operational workflow across a collaborative administration team. In this role, you’ll help manage grant processes from proposal through close‑out, track project progress, and provide essential administrative coordination. This position is ideal for someone with 2+ years of administrative experience who is detail‑driven, proactive, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Position Details:

  • Responsibilities include supporting post‑award grant administration by tracking project milestones and deliverables; coordinating communication with researchers, administrators, and funding agencies; preparing components of progress and final reports; maintaining compliance with institutional and agency guidelines; assisting with meeting logistics and agenda preparation; supporting development of web content related to grant outcomes; processing hiring paperwork, vendor bids, reimbursements, and research‑related payments; and assisting with pre‑award proposal preparation including budgets, administrative documentation, and portal submissions.
  • The ideal candidate possesses 2+ years of administrative experience with exposure to research, academic, or grant‑focused environments; strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and office software tools; excellent communication, organization, and follow‑through; ability to work independently while collaborating closely within a small team; comfort managing confidential materials; ability to adapt and pivot in evolving situations; and a poised, professional presence suited for a small‑office environment.
