Service Desk Analyst to $80K – Go-To Support Role!

Our client, a well-established professional services organization, is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to be their go-to resource for in-office technology support. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on troubleshooting and high-touch user support, ensuring employees can stay productive without disruption. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of IT support experience and a service-first mindset.

Position Details:

  • Location: Boston, MA

  • Responsibilities include providing first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person requests; troubleshooting and configuring desktops, laptops, peripherals, and standard business applications; supporting Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, document management systems, and security applications; documenting incidents and resolutions clearly within a ticketing system; escalating unresolved issues to advanced support teams or external vendors as needed; delivering proactive communication and follow-up to ensure user satisfaction; assisting with system updates, patches, and basic account administration; creating and maintaining simple user guides and documentation; supporting on-call rotations and contributing to overall service desk operations.
  • The ideal candidate possesses at least two years of hands-on IT support or service desk experience; strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with demanding users; clear verbal and written communication abilities; working knowledge of Windows environments, common business applications, and basic networking concepts; comfort troubleshooting both hardware and software issues; strong attention to detail and documentation habits; and the ability to remain composed and professional in high‑urgency situations.
