Experienced Consultant – Direct Hire Placement – Beacon Hill Legal

Summary: As an experienced member of one of our direct-hire or executive search teams, responsible for mentoring junior Associates and Consultants and providing counsel and thought leadership to management in addition to full-desk responsibilities including: candidate research, recruitment, and placement; client development and account management; and start to finish execution on searches. To be considered, must have prior placement experience, within proven success, in the direct-hire or executive search field. Essential Job Responsibilities:

* Research and evaluate prospective candidates utilizing internet research, social media, referral networking, direct recruiting, resume databases, job postings and other advertising.

* Analyze employer hiring needs for particular positions and craft effective language to attract suitable candidates for each through advertisements on online job boards, our company website and other recruiting media; monitor and maintain all pending job postings.

* Manager full life cycle of recruiting and hiring processes.

* Develop and maintain relationships in the business community to sustain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates. * Work with Account Executives to prepare candidates for full recruiting and hiring lifecycles.

* Work with employers to establish appropriate pay rates for contractors placed on assignment or salaries for contractors converted to full-time employees of our client companies.

* Maintain consistent contact with Account Executives, employers and contractors on assignment to ensure employer satisfaction with contractor transition and performance, and to assess and address any concerns.

* Track and evaluate job fairs and other business and recruiting events in your area and identify key events to attend on behalf of the company.

* Manage and maintain employer and candidate contacts and activities using our proprietary database.

* Attend networking meetings and industry events to meet with and expand contacts with employers and candidates.

* Deliver polished and effective presentations in person to employers with advice and recommendations for new or expanded engagements, for improvements in hiring and employment, or for the suitability of particular candidates.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively, and ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

* Mentor and Manager staffing teams. Qualifications:

* Ability to work independently and without supervision, but also interact professionally with others as part of team.

* Ability to project a polished professional demeanor on behalf of the company on the phone and in person.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.

* Effective time management and analytical skills that allow you to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Experience working in a fast-paced, client-driven, team-oriented environment requiring discretion and independent judgment.

* Proven ability to receive and evaluate constructive criticism and coaching and to translate that into demonstrable performance improvements.

* Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure.

* Ability to handle confidential and delicate information of employers and candidates with the maximum discretion.

* Customer service mindset and ability to develop ongoing productive relationships with employers and candidates.

* Goal-oriented personality with superior work ethic, tenacious attitude and ability to learn quickly, and to exercise discretion and independent judgment on a regular basis.
