Senior Accountant
Up and coming company headquartered in DE is looking to expand its team due to upcoming growth. This role will have a significant impact on the company and play an integral role in building out the accounting function and processes.
Role will report to Controller with a lot of visibility to Sr Leadership and will also work very closely with the CFO.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and support full-cycle month-end close
- Oversee accounting in the areas of inventory, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
- Help strengthen and improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows
- Assist with NetSuite optimization and support implementation of the inventory module
- Supervise and mentor a Staff Accountant
- Partner with leadership and contribute to the development of a scalable accounting function
- Participate in a collaborative, high-visibility environment where strong communication and professionalism are essential
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in accounting
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred but not required
