Overview

We’re partnering with a global manufacturing organization to add a Senior Inventory Analyst to its Operational Finance team. This role sits at the intersection of inventory accounting, finance, and audit, with strong exposure to business operations. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting or audit foundation, experience with inventory controls, and the ability to partner cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track, monitor, and report on inventory balances and movements across the organization
  • Support inventory accounting activities, including month‑end close and journal entries related to inventory and cost
  • Perform and oversee cycle counts and physical inventory, investigating and resolving variances
  • Partner closely with field sales, operations, and asset management teams, including groups supporting loaner or rental‑based inventory programs (e.g., per‑procedure device usage)
  • Assist with inventory audits, internal controls, and documentation related to inventory and fixed assets
  • Support process improvements and data accuracy within the inventory lifecycle
  • Leverage ERP systems to analyze data and ensure accurate reporting

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory accounting, audit, finance, or a related area
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting concepts, including valuation, movement tracking, and reconciliations
  • Experience with cycle counts, physical inventory, and audit support
  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred; adaptable ERP experience acceptable)
  • Ability to partner and communicate effectively across multiple teams and levels, including non‑finance stakeholders
  • Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
