Senior Financial Analyst

Overview

A multibillion-dollar manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with business leaders across the organization to analyze performance, support planning and forecasting, and provide insights that drive strategic decision‑making. This is a highly visible role ideal for candidates with a public accounting background looking to move into a more forward‑looking, business‑facing finance role – or, an experienced corporate financial analyst looking to develop within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own monthly forecasting and support budgeting for assigned business units
• Perform financial analysis, including trend and variance analysis on income statement activity
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to evaluate performance and guide decision‑making
• Support executive‑level reporting and presentations for leadership and board reviews
• Build financial models to assess business initiatives and investment decisions
• Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiencies within reporting and planning
• Serve as a mentor and resource to junior team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting (audit) or corporate finance/FP&A
• Strong understanding of financial statements and business drivers
• Ability to communicate financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning or BI tools a plus
