Interim Controller

Our client is seeking an Interim Controller to assist in the transition as the current controller moves into retirement. They are also evaluating their future software setup, so systems adaptability is important. Company is Private Equity owned and anticipates two acquisitions in the next 1-2 years.
Some requirements include:
- At least five years of Controller level experience: close, GL, balance sheet, financial reporting
- Controller experience must include some mid-sized organization experience
- Multi-entity experience required
- Experience working with multiple ERP/accounting systems and able to adapt quickly
- Experience working for a private equity company
- Role requires both hands-on day to day accounting and strategic leadership
- Government contracting experience is highly preferred
- Healthcare industry experience is also ideal
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial or Business Administration is required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- Public Accounting experience preferred
