Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll on a biweekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis

• Review and audit timekeeping records for accuracy and completeness

• Ensure payroll is processed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Handle payroll adjustments including bonuses, commissions, and deductions

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, and timekeeping

• Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system

• Generate payroll reports and assist with reconciliations

• Partner with HR and Accounting teams on employee changes, benefits, and reporting

• Assist with year-end processes including W-2s and audits

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience

• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, UKG, or similar)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate)

• Strong communication and organizational skills
