Our client in the Houston, TX area is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for a 6 month contract to support budgeting, capital planning, forecasting, and business decision-making across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial and operational data to support strategic initiatives and capital projects
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and expenditure tracking
- Partner with operations, finance, and leadership teams on planning activities
- Prepare management reports, financial presentations, and ad hoc analyses
- Support audits, reconciliations, and regulatory-related projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, or business analysis
- Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
