Beacon Hill Financial is working with a non-profit in New Rochelle to bring an entry-level Junior Accountant to their team. The role works closely with the HR Manager on payroll activities and assists the accounting team with AP tasks during non‑payroll periods. If you have experience processing Payroll and are interested in gaining experience, please apply!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with processing payroll, under the guidance of the HR Manager
- Help maintain accurate employee records, earnings, deductions, and payroll changes
- Support payroll reconciliations, reporting, and documentation
- Respond to basic payroll questions and direct more complex issues as appropriate
- Maintain organized payroll files while handling confidential information responsibly
- Assist with Accounts Payable processing through including invoice entry and coding
- Help route invoices for approval and support timely vendor payments
- Maintain AP records and supporting documentation
- Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed
- Assist the accounting team during month‑end or peak workload periods
