IN A NUTSHELL:
The Inventory Specialist is a hands-on, high-volume transactional role responsible for the day-to-day execution of inventory tracking and receipt activities, focusing on both raw materials and finished goods.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in monitoring raw material and finished goods component inventory levels to help prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Help track supplier shipments to the 3PL network and maintain accurate records for inbound product flow.
- Gather data for supply‑related reporting, including weekly operational updates and supplier performance tracking.
- Processing inventory receipts into ERP system
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Accounting roles, preferably in a CPG or manufacturing environment.
SKILLS:
- High proficiency in PO processing, inventory tracking, and managing complex material flows to contract manufacturers and 3PLs.
- Strong working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and procurement modules.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across internal and external partners
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with internal and external business partners
- Excellent relationship management and organizational skills, with a strong focus on risk mitigation.
