Beacon Hill Financial is collaborating with an architecture firm in Manhattan to bring a Staff Accountant to their growing team. This role will work closely with multiple financial and operational systems, ensuring data integrity, accurate revenue reporting, and timely customer invoicing. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded accounting foundation with experience in billing, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process customer invoices, ensuring billing accuracy and timely revenue recognition
- Monitor data flow and reconcile information between accounting, resource management, and billing platforms to maintain financial accuracy
- Support accounts receivable functions, including collections activities, payment application, account reconciliations, and resolution of billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting support
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify discrepancies and improve reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project, resource, and billing information is properly captured and reflected in financial records
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives designed to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls
