Beacon Hill is partnering with a company in Manhattan to bring a Senior Accountant to their growing team. This role will be responsible for overseeing month-end close activities, preparing financial analyses, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close activities, including the preparation and review of journal entries.
- Prepare account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts, ensuring all reconciling items are accurately researched and resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist with financial reporting and prepare variance analyses to support management decision-making.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational efficiencies within the accounting function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Communicate with external business partners and service providers regarding financial information and reporting requirements.
