Beacon Hill is looking for a Senior Accountant to support core accounting functions for one of our clients, including month‑end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet ownership. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, strong controls, and timely reporting while partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who brings strong accounting fundamentals, a hands‑on mindset, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. The environment is collaborative and fast‑paced, with established processes that continue to evolve.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
- Hands‑on experience with month‑end and quarter‑end close
- Proven ability to prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience researching discrepancies and resolving accounting issues independently
- ERP system experience required (Oracle, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, FundEZ or similar)
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to communicate clearly with cross‑functional stakeholders
- CPA a plus, but not required
