Job: Financial Analyst
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Employment Type: Temporary/Contract to Hire (with potential for extension or conversion)
Pay Range: $40-45/hour, depending on experience and education
Position Overview
We are working with a well-established Oklahoma City company that is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis.
This individual will serve as a strategic resource for leadership by providing financial insight, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting organizational financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, advanced accounting knowledge, and experience working within complex financial environments.
This is a full-time, on-site position with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial and statistical reports for leadership review
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop profitability reporting and financial models to support decision-making
- Analyze operational and manufacturing-related costs to improve efficiency and reduce expenses
- Support internal controls and review accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with the implementation of accounting standards and audit preparation activities
- Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and supporting schedules
- Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial guidance and operational analysis
- Support annual audit processes and preparation of audit work papers
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational information
- Provide backup support for key accounting and finance leadership functions as needed
- Assist with administration and reporting related to employee benefit plans and compliance activities
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 4+ years of accounting or financial analyst work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- CPA designation or eligibility preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and other related financial and analytical accrual-based accounting systems
