Procurement Specialist – Boston, MA
Our client, a public health organization, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support their purchasing and contracts team. This role focuses on managing requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor contracts while ensuring compliance with internal and governmental procurement guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Process requisitions, create and maintain purchase orders and contracts.
- Track contract status and maintain accurate records in the contract management system.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance and accounts payable teams to resolve invoice or contract discrepancies.
- Prepare reports and assist with audits and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of accounts payable, procurement, or contract management experience.
- Experience with grants, contracts, or nonprofit/government operations preferred.
