Responsibilities
- Support the financial management and compliance of assigned grants and contracts
- Review grant transactions for accuracy, allowability, and alignment with funding requirements
- Assist with grant setup, budget updates, and budget-to-actual analysis
- Prepare and support grant billings, receivable reconciliations, and follow-up on discrepancies
- Help maintain grant documentation to support audits and reporting requirements
- Perform basic general ledger review and assist with grant-related journal entries
- Support monthly and periodic grant reconciliations and financial analyses
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting or grants-related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Experience in a nonprofit, government, or grant-funded environment preferred
