Responsibilities
- Process regular payroll cycles for a mixed salaried and hourly employee population
- Review and audit payroll data, including time entries, earnings, deductions, and adjustments
- Ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour regulations and payroll tax requirements
- Manage payroll-related deductions, benefits, retirement contributions, and garnishments
- Reconcile payroll reports and support finance with payroll-related data
- Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues as needed
- Assist with payroll system maintenance and support ongoing system transitions or updates
- Handle sensitive payroll information with a high level of confidentiality
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Familiarity with Paychex or similar payroll systems required
- Proficiency with Excel and payroll reporting tools
