Payroll Consultant – Remote but Local to Boston, MA
Responsibilities
- Process and maintain payroll operations for a multi-state employee population.
- Support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and related accounting activities.
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and assist with financial close processes.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, deductions, and reporting requirements.
- Assist with employee stock program activities.
- Review payroll data, investigate discrepancies, and support audit requests.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records and reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with payroll administration platforms; Shareworks experience preferred.
- NetSuite experience is a plus.
