Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a Contract Accounting Clerk for our client in the St.Louis Metro Area. This role is 100% onsite and offers pay ranging from $25-$29 per hour, depending on experience.

Duties
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the finance team
- Enter financial transactions accurately into accounting systems
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger updates
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
- Research and resolve discrepancies or accounting issues
- Assist with reporting, audits, and month-end close processes
- Support internal teams with accounting-related inquiries
You will be a good fit for this position if you have:
- Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting functions
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, etc.) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
