Senior Manager of Professional Development
Location: Hybrid in Boston, MA (4 days/week onsite)
Our client, an established law firm in Boston, MA, is looking to hire a Senior Manager of Professional Development to join their team. This role will be a blend of hands on and strategic work, partnering closely with attorneys & members of the talent development team on attorney development, talent management, leadership coaching, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement professional development programming
- Coach attorneys on professional development & navigating their careers at the firm
- Partner with firm leadership to assess learning needs and implement firm-wide solutions to address competency gaps
- Foster relationships with internal and external subject-matter experts
- Stay abreast of trends and developments affecting the department and the firm at large
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Juris Doctor preferred but not required
- 10+ years of experience working in the professional development space
- Law firm experience strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
