Our client, a boutique HR consulting firm, is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join their team supporting small and growing organizations across the New York area. This is a part‑time role that will start off in a contract with the possibility to move into a permanent role. This role will begin at approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours over time as the firm continues to expand. This opportunity offers flexibility and the ability to work closely with a diverse client base, including nonprofits and small businesses. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional who thrives in a consultative environment and enjoys balancing execution with advisory work. • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with a well‑rounded generalist background, required.
• Strong depth in training and development, performance management, and policy development, required.
• Prior experience in HR consulting or supporting multiple small organizations simultaneously, strongly preferred.
• Background in organizational development and change management, preferred.
• Prior experience supporting nonprofit organizations, preferred.

The hourly rate for this role is $50-$65/hr.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
