Our client, a prominent global law firm, is seeking an HR Generalist to join its New York office in a hybrid capacity. This role acts as the central coordination hub for the HR team, overseeing end-to-end performance management processes, employee lifecycle initiatives, and compliance efforts across a diverse workforce. The position partners closely with managers and employees to drive evaluation cycles, manage HR inquiries, and ensure accurate execution of time and absence processes. This is a highly visible, hands-on role with strong project management and employee-facing responsibilities.   • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, required.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR generalist or advisory experience, required.
  • Experience within a professional services or law firm environment, preferred.
  • Hands-on experience supporting full-cycle performance management processes, required.
  • Experience managing employee relations matters, including counseling and performance concerns, required.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, including I-9 administration, work authorization, and federal and state employment laws, required.
  • Experience supporting time and absence administration and payroll processes, preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, or Kronos, preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service orientation, required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, required.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, required.

The salary for this role is $80K-$95K.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
