Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will oversee day to day accounting operations and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This role supports both local and corporate leadership and is well suited for a detail oriented accounting professional who enjoys hands on financial responsibilities while also contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP

• Maintain and oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and depreciation

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules

• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and other core accounting functions

• Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, and business decision making

• Monitor inventory and cost related transactions, where applicable

• Partner cross functionally with operations and leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Support external audit requests and year end reporting requirements

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

• Active CPA license required

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles

• Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams
