Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $27-$35/hour (DOE)
Start: Immediate

Well-established nonprofit organization providing family and youth services across California. The team supports a high-volume, multi-location environment with a strong focus on community impact and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily deposits across multiple locations
- Apply payments and manage tuition-related cash postings
- Handle returned payments and coordinate with third-party collections
- Perform collections on outstanding balances and aged receivables
- Prepare month-end journal entries, including intercompany transactions
- Reconcile AR subledger to general ledger accounts
- Distribute monthly financial reports to internal stakeholders
- Respond to inquiries from field locations and provide ongoing support
- Assist with audits, documentation of processes, and ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounts receivable experience
- Strong reconciliation and cash application skills
- Experience with collections and high-volume transactions
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
- Solid Excel skills and attention to detail
