Business Systems Analyst III – Oracle Fusion HCM Compensation
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – Onsite 4 Days per Week)
Pay Rate: Up to $50.08/hour
Duration: Contract Opportunity – thru end of 2026, extension TBD
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst III with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM, specifically the Workforce Compensation module, to support critical compensation planning, reporting, system enhancements, and compliance initiatives. This role will partner closely with Compensation, HR Technology, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful administration and optimization of compensation processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion HCM Workforce Compensation modules and related processes.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries and Fast Formulas to ensure compensation data accuracy and reporting integrity.
- Lead the setup, maintenance, and execution of annual compensation programs, including merit and bonus cycles.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI dashboards to support compensation and HR business needs.
- Collaborate with Compensation and HR Technology teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
- Perform mass data updates and system maintenance using HDL (HCM Data Loader) and HSDL (HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader).
- Create, execute, and document test plans, test scripts, and validation results for unit and integration testing.
- Deliver system training, documentation, and guidance to business stakeholders.
- Support SOX compliance audits, system controls, and Oracle Fusion upgrade initiatives.
- Analyze business requirements and recommend system solutions that improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, HRIS Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM, including Workforce Compensation configuration and administration.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Oracle Fusion Workforce Compensation
- SQL development and troubleshooting
- Fast Formulas
- BI Publisher
- OTBI Reporting
- HDL and HSDL
- Experience supporting annual compensation planning, merit, and bonus cycles.
- Proven ability to conduct system testing, document results, and support implementations and upgrades.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting SOX compliance and audit requirements.
- Prior experience working closely with Compensation, HR, and HR Technology teams.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM upgrades and release management processes.
