Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join a well-established law firm in downtown Chicago! This position is fully in-office for the first 3-6 months (with flexibility to transition to a hybrid schedule of 2 days remote), operates on an 8:30am-5:00pm schedule, offers excellent work-life balance (no overtime), full benefits, and is paying $50k-$65k!

Skills required and Job Duties include the following:

Below is a list of potential job duties:

Ideally 2-3 years of law firm experience (will consider 1+ year for a strong candidate)
At least 1 year of Trust & Estates experience required
Serve as a jack-of-all-trades supporting attorneys and office leadership as needs arise
Draft, revise, and format a wide range of legal documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy
Assist with billing and time entry (experience with Timeslips is a plus)
Review and edit prebills
Open new matters and assist with file management
Prepare expense reports
Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics
Provide backup support across the office as needed
Utilize Excel for tracking and reporting purposes
