A highly regarded, relationship-driven law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Partner to join its growing Corporate Practice Group. This is a great opportunity for a sophisticated transactional attorney who enjoys high-quality work, collaborative colleagues, and a platform designed to help partners expand and deepen their practices – no portable book of business required!
The Opportunity
The firm is looking for a corporate attorney with 8+ years of transactional experience to play a meaningful role in a busy, highly collaborative practice. The group represents middle-market companies, private equity funds, family businesses, entrepreneurs, and other sophisticated clients in a wide range of transactional and governance matters.
The work includes mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, ESOP transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, complex commercial agreements, private offerings, and general corporate counseling. The practice handles transactions across a variety of industries, including food and beverage, industrial manufacturing, professional services, cannabis, and other growing sectors.
What Makes Someone a Fit
- 8+ years of corporate transactional experience, with a strong background in sophisticated M&A matters.
- Significant experience with private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and related deal work.
- Experience advising middle-market companies on general corporate matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, LLC agreements, shareholder agreements, and other business-critical issues.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, project management, and client counseling skills.
- A self-starting, entrepreneurial approach to practicing law, paired with sound judgment and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with private securities offerings, joint ventures, investment fund formation, or alternative practice structures is helpful, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
The expected annual salary range for this position starts at $360,000 dependent on the experience. The firm offers a generous benefits package.
