A fast‑growing, well‑established personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Pre‑Litigation Paralegal to join a collaborative, client‑focused team. The firm is dedicated to advocating for injured individuals with compassion, skill, and determination. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high‑volume environment, communicates with confidence, and can contribute meaningfully from day one.
Position Overview
The Pre‑Litigation Paralegal will manage a substantial caseload and provide comprehensive support to an attorney throughout the pre‑litigation phase. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Regular communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters is a key component of the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre‑litigation process
- Gather documentation and maintain well‑organized case files
- Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and billing
- Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and lien holders
- Draft demand letters and other pre‑litigation documents
- Track client treatment progress and ensure timely follow‑up
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, investigation, and strategy
- Maintain accurate notes, deadlines, and updates within case management software
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of personal injury experience preferred
- Strong understanding of personal injury procedures and case flow
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and client‑service orientation
- Strong attention to detail and effective problem‑solving skill
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 – $70,000, based on experience
- Performance‑based bonus opportunities
