Fantastic firm in Quincy is adding a US Patent Assistant/Paralegal to their team. They are seeking someone with 2+ years’ legal assistant or paralegal experience–preferably with Intellectual Propery experience.
This admin/paralegal will be responsible for:
- Preparing and electronically filing patent applications
- Responses to office actions, assignments, and other patent documents
- Strong communication skills for close working relationships with attorneys, co-workers, and clients are required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is also required
- Candidates must be organized and able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a high-level thinker with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong motivation to learn and grow in the IP practice area
This position requires an initial period of ON-SITE training with the ability to work-from-home thereafter.
