Litigation Legal Assistant (Hybrid)
Overview
A well-established law firm in Minneapolis seeks a Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys and legal professionals in a fast-paced litigation practice. This role provides a hybrid schedule, great benefits, and competitive salary! This individual must have strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a good attitude.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide legal administrative support in a civil litigation practice area.
- Prepare, format, edit, and proofread correspondence, memos, pleadings, and legal documents.
- Maintain client files using the document management system.
- Help prepare and finalize conflict checks, and process invoices.
- Monitor and track key dates and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain attorney calendars.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and staff in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of legal assistant experience, civil/business litigation preferred.
- Experience efiling for state and federal courts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
