Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consultant to support the continued development and expansion of a corporate ERM program within a large, decentralized organization. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of converting to a full-time position. The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite in Willow Grove, PA, and reports directly to the Director of Corporate Compliance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established team responsible for implementing enterprise-wide risk management protocols and best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level, hands-on ERM professional who can operate independently, advise leadership, and help embed risk management practices into day-to-day business operations.

Position Overview

The Enterprise Risk Management Consultant will play a key role in designing, enhancing, and operationalizing the organization’s ERM framework. This individual will collaborate with executive leadership and stakeholders across multiple business units to identify, assess, monitor, and report on enterprise risks while helping drive a strong risk-aware culture throughout the organization.

This is not a SOX compliance or internal audit-focused role. Instead, the organization is seeking a strategic risk management professional who can provide practical guidance on ERM governance, reporting, risk assessments, and program implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing development, implementation, and maturation of the enterprise risk management program.
  • Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and prioritization activities across business units.
  • Lead and support executive-level risk discussions and presentations.
  • Develop and enhance risk governance structures, policies, procedures, and reporting processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to integrate risk management practices into operational decision-making.
  • Advise leadership on ERM best practices and industry standards.
  • Help establish and implement enterprise-wide risk management protocols and controls.
  • Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and governance committees.
  • Assist with change management efforts related to ERM adoption throughout the organization.
  • Deliver training and educational programs to stakeholders on risk management concepts and processes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship within the newly formed ERM function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic risk initiatives and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Enterprise Risk Management experience, including building, implementing, or maturing ERM programs.
  • Demonstrated experience developing ERM frameworks, governance models, and reporting processes.
  • Strong experience facilitating discussions with senior executives and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams.
  • Experience working within large, complex, decentralized organizations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience utilizing digital risk management platforms or GRC solutions. Experience with NAVEX IRM is a plus but not required.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs and educational materials.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the insurance industry, professional services, or a law firm environment is preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting compliance, governance, or corporate risk initiatives within highly regulated environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CRMA, CERM, CRCMP, PMP, or similar are a plus.

Position Details

  • Location: Willow Grove, PA
  • Schedule: Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week
  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Duration: Long-term contract
  • Conversion Potential: Opportunity to convert to a full-time employee role in the future
  • Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of Corporate Compliance

If you are a strategic and hands-on ERM professional looking to help build and shape a growing enterprise risk management function, we encourage you to apply.
