Temporary-to-Hire Privacy Analyst

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking an experienced Privacy Analyst to join and help scale a growing privacy function within an in-house legal and compliance environment. This team plays a critical role in supporting a high volume of privacy-related matters, including incident response, privacy assessments, process improvements, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine strong privacy knowledge with technical aptitude and the ability to understand how systems, data, and business processes interact across an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the investigation and management of privacy incidents, including response coordination and documentation.
• Assist with privacy assessments, compliance reviews, and evaluations of technologies such as website cookies and tracking tools.
• Develop and enhance privacy workflows, procedures, and operational processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Support privacy certifications, governance initiatives, and ongoing compliance programs.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in privacy, data protection, compliance, legal operations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of privacy regulations, compliance frameworks, and incident response processes.
• Advanced technical aptitude, including the ability to understand system architecture, data flows, and interconnected technologies.
• Experience with OneTrust or similar privacy management platforms is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within an in-house legal, compliance, or corporate privacy team.
• Exposure to Canadian privacy laws or experience supporting a Canadian organization.
