Beacon Hill’s client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy, fast‑paced team. This role requires someone proactive, responsive, and confident in their litigation skills, capable of supporting multiple litigators at any given time.
- Location: Onsite – Los Angeles, CA 90071 (Downtown Los Angeles)
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Approximately 2 months, but could go longer
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
- Schedule: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM with a one-hour unpaid lunch OR 9:30 AM-6:00 PM with a one-hour unpaid lunch
- Reports to: Office Manager (Los Angeles)
- Pay: $35-$42.75/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Strong litigation legal secretary experience in a law firm environment
- Hands‑on e‑filing experience in California state courts and/or federal courts required
- Experience supporting multiple litigators in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable acting as a floater and assisting with overflow and substantive tasks
- Experience creating Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents (firm uses Best Authority)
- Experience with iManage or a comparable document management system required (firm uses iManage)
- Billing experience is a plus (firm uses 3E)
