Beacon Hill’s client, a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to support their team. This position will support a sophisticated real estate practice and is ideal for an attorney with strong transactional experience and meaningful economic incentives experience. The partner’s practice includes site selection, tax credits, property tax incentives, discretionary incentives, and related real estate development matters.

  • Location: Remote (Candidates must be actively licensed and reside in the same state, and that state must be one in which the firm has an office. Preference for East Coast candidates)
  • Eligible states: California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington State, and Washington, D.C.
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: Through January 2027, with the possibility of extension
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
    • Candidates must be available for some evening work, generally around 7:30-8:00 PM Eastern to support clients across global time zones.
    • Approximately once per week, there may be a later evening need around 11:00 PM Eastern.
  • Concurrent employment: Not permitted
  • Pay: $100 to $109/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
  • Active bar license in good standing in your state of residence (must be an eligible office state listed above)
  • 10+ years of strong substantive real estate experience
  • Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development
  • Significant economic incentives experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage substantive legal work
  • Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening hours for global client needs
Responsibilities:
  • Support a range of commercial real estate matters
  • Assist with acquisitions and dispositions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate leases and related agreements
  • Support real estate development matters
  • Handle matters involving economic incentives
  • Work with clients and attorneys across multiple global time zones
