Brief Summary:
We are hiring a Medical Director (remote, 5-15 hours/week CST) to provide medical expertise for life and health insurance underwriting, claims management, and product development.
The role involves developing medical underwriting guidelines, advising on complex risk decisions, training underwriters and claims examiners, monitoring medical research and emerging risks, contributing to strategic risk initiatives, and mentoring medical staff. Strong collaboration and business acumen are essential, and insurance/claims experience is required.
Requirements:

MD or DO with 5+ years in Internal or Family Medicine

Strong knowledge of medical literature and communication skills

Insurance medicine experience (required)
Schedule: 5-15 hours weekly M-F/Regular business hours
