Qualifications

• Completion of a high school education or equivalent.
• Holds an active, unrestricted state pharmacy technician license.
• Must obtain national certification (CPhT) within one year of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Prior experience in a home infusion or specialty pharmacy environment is highly desirable.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Supports the preparation, packaging, and coordination of patient medication deliveries under pharmacist supervision.
• Manages shipment documentation and monitors delivery timelines to maintain uninterrupted patient care.
• Conducts follow-up communication with patients or caregivers to confirm delivery and satisfaction.
• Inputs accurate prescription and patient data into pharmacy software and record systems.
• Keeps required continuing education up to date per state guidelines.
• Participates in regular inventory counts and documentation for medications and supplies.
• Assists with collection and verification of billing and insurance documentation.
• Maintains compliance with company operational policies and quality standards.
• Performs additional duties or special projects as needed.
