Position Overview

A growing behavioral health organization is seeking a Clinical Director to provide leadership and oversight for a residential treatment program. This position is responsible for managing clinical services, supporting staff development, ensuring high-quality client care, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory and licensing standards.

The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical experience, leadership capabilities, and a passion for supporting individuals and families within a behavioral health setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical services within a residential treatment program
  • Conduct assessments and support treatment planning activities
  • Coordinate care with internal teams and external providers
  • Supervise, mentor, and support clinical staff
  • Facilitate clinical team meetings and case consultations
  • Review documentation to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
  • Promote evidence-based treatment practices
  • Support staff training, development, and performance management
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and supportive treatment environment
  • Participate in on-call or emergency response responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field
  • Active clinical licensure preferred (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC, or equivalent)
  • Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or related clinical settings
  • Previous supervisory, leadership, or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic record systems

Schedule

  • Full-time, onsite position
  • Flexible daytime schedule available
