Organization Type: Closed-door / production pharmacy serving patients through prescription fulfillment and clinical pharmacy services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• Current, active Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.
• Prior pharmacist experience required; closed-door or production pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

• Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accurate, safe dispensing of medications.
• Verify both hard-copy and electronic prescriptions for clinical and dispensing accuracy.
• Communicate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals to resolve prescription-related questions and concerns.
• Oversee and execute incoming and outgoing prescription transfers.
• Perform Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) to identify potential medication-related concerns and clinical interventions.
• Identify patients who may be eligible for Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and complete appropriate follow-up.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with applicable legal, privacy, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Location: Cuyahoga County, OH
• Schedule: Sunday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
• Pay: $55-$60/hour, dependent on experience
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and occasionally lift or move items up to 25 lbs.
