MicroStrategy Developer (BI / Reporting Modernization)
Overview
Seeking experienced MicroStrategy Developers to support a large-scale reporting modernization initiative. This role focuses on transforming legacy reports into modern dashboards and dossiers while working closely with data sources in Teradata and GCP. The position sits within an established BI team handling both internal and external reporting needs.
Must Haves
- 5+ years of hands-on MicroStrategy development experience
- Strong experience with MicroStrategy version 11.1 (current)
- Proficiency in SQL, including freeform SQL development
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Hands-on experience sourcing data from Teradata and GCP
- Strong understanding of database structures and working across multiple data sources
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, and dossiers
- Modernize legacy reports into scalable, user-friendly BI solutions
- Build and manage MicroStrategy objects and datasets
- Leverage freeform SQL to support complex reporting requirements
- Source and integrate data from Teradata and GCP environments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables
Nice to Have
- Experience migrating or integrating data from Teradata to GCP
- Exposure to large-scale BI/reporting transformation initiatives
