Senior Project Manager – Technology Integration Programs (Health Plan / Payer)

Overview
Seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale technology integration and platform implementation initiatives within a health plan (payer) environment. This role is responsible for delivering complex enterprise programs including system integrations, data migrations, vendor integrations, and operational transitions across business and technology teams.

The ideal professional has strong experience in health plan operations and platform environments and is comfortable managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Health plan (payer) industry experience required, with knowledge of core operational areas such as claims, enrollment, billing, provider networks, and customer service.
  • 6+ years of project management experience delivering large, complex enterprise initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale system integrations, enterprise platform implementations, or major technology transformations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across business, operations, IT, and vendor partners in a matrixed organization.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Experience working with hybrid delivery models (Agile and Waterfall).
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments while maintaining project momentum.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with core health plan platforms such as QNXT, Facets, HealthRules, or similar systems.
  • Experience supporting data migration, vendor integrations, or enterprise platform transformation programs.
  • Experience working in high-growth or rapidly evolving environments where processes and structures are still developing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of large-scale technology integration programs, including platform implementations, vendor integrations, and system migrations.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, and delivery timelines aligned to program objectives.
  • Coordinate execution across multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams including IT, operations, product, finance, provider networks, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate collaboration across stakeholders to ensure alignment on dependencies, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Drive decision-making and problem resolution in complex environments with evolving requirements.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation and escalation when necessary.
  • Maintain project governance artifacts including status reports, RAID logs, schedules, and executive updates.
  • Partner with operational teams to support testing, business readiness, and operational transition planning.
